Lately I have been on a new path of self discovery, transformation and revelations. You may have noticed that my recent posts have been different lately as I have been experimenting with eating healthier. I haven’t really made the switch but have decided to eat a vegetarian diet most of the time. Maybe one day I will be a full on vegetarian but so far I enjoy it while sneaking in some meat on occasion. Who knows?
Recently I was having a really bad week and was working 18 hour days, surviving on 3.5 hours of sleep per night and feeling exhausted. I was feeling really off my game and not spending enough time on myself. Finally on the weekend I had a chance to hit the gym and as I was on the elliptical with my house music pumping on my iPod I allowed the music to take over my body and my workout. I really got into it and it invigorated and empowered me to give it all I got. As I was pumping to the beat of the music I felt a great sense of fulfillment. As I was flying on the elliptical I began to think of all the wonderful things going on in my life and realized that no matter how shitty a week I had, I am grateful for what I have in life and excited about what’s in store for the future.
You see, I came across this article titled 12 Things Happy People Do Differently — And Why I Started Doing Them by Jacob Sokol from Sensophy.com. Jacob created Sensophy to help people live extraordinary lives and has been an inspiration of mine for a couple of months now. He is so REAL and GENUINE and I now have a huge hard-on for him and what he has to say. He also has amazing peeps working with him and Kristen on his team is super awesome and is full of great ideas and support.
Therefore, I’ve been on a bit of a journey where I have been focusing on creating a better life for myself. I’m on a path to start some new creative projects and I’m exploring some new ideas for my blog. I’m also thinking of shifting my focus of more than just a blog about food and I want to start writing about my transformation. My transformation consists of eating healthier, taking care of my body, dealing with my weight issues and my journey towards living a more meaningful life. I want to provide value to those of you who visit this site and I want to give back, not only with food but with information that will inspire you to thrive and live life to your fullest potential.
As I learn and grow I will be sharing my new revelations and experiences with you and as I discover new foods, recipes and practices to live a healthier life (both physically and spiritually), I will write about them and hopefully inspire others to do the same. In the meantime checkout sensophy.com and fill up on some great vibes from Jacob and his team.
Leave a comment and let me know what you think of my new focus, I would love to hear what you think.
